China Grows, Cambodia Gains

With a long standing history of close business and investment relations with China, Cambodia may have more to look forward to as China climbs through the economic ladder.  Co-founder and chairman of the Cambodian Institute for Strategic Studies Chheang Vannarith, in an interview with Khmer Times, has mentioned that with China being one of the primary countries to set up the Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank, developing Asian countries such as Cambodia will have sufficient investment for economic development so long as it “defines its national interest in terms of economic development and poverty reduction.”
