Siem Reap Department of Land Provincial Chief replaced

The chief of Siem Reap’s Province’s department of land management, urban planning, construction and cadaster, Mr Se Samut, has been replaced by Mr Hy Say, previously the deputy chief of the ministry.  Se Semut was moved from the Siem Reap Department of Land to a new position at the Ministry of Land Management. Spokesman of the Land Management Ministry, Chiem Sophal Makara, noted to media that the decision was, “made for the purpose of strengthening the institution.” Minister of Land Management, Mr Chea Sophara, also publically announced the replacement via his personal Facebook, supporting the decision and asking all officials to offer their support and respect to the new minister that is now accepting the role. Chea Sophara asked, “Please brothers and sisters in Siem Reap province, instruct and cooperate by regarding [him] as a child or grandchild in order for this official to serve you in the spirit of professionalism, respect and love.”
