Phnom Penh, Cambodia - May 9, 2024: The real estate industry's finest gathered at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra on the evening of Wednesday, May 8th to celebrate the achievements of outstanding individuals and companies in the industry.
The prestigious event is organised annually by Realestate.com.kh in collaboration with The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, The Real Estate Business and Pawnshop Regulator of Cambodia, and the Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association.
Tom O'Sullivan, CEO of Realestate.com.kh opened the evening with a keynote speech emphasising the crucial roles of professionalism, transparency, and trust-building in bolstering buyer confidence and sustaining international investment.
During the evening, Realestate.com.kh launched its latest initiative, Connect, a platform designed to unify the entire industry. Connect aims to promote Cambodia and its real estate sector globally while enabling efficient and transparent transactions through one integrated platform.
The event was graced by over 300 of the most prominent and successful real estate players in the country's industry. The nominees and award recipients were evaluated based on their industry leadership, innovation, business growth, impact, and overall excellence.
Over 30 winners from the leading property developers and agencies in Cambodia were announced throughout the night and were awarded the iconic trophy, prestigious CREA seal, and gold plaques to confirm their company's success.
The top Developer of the Year awards included the winner of the overall Developer of the Year, Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC), while Time Square projects’ developer MegaKim World Corporation won the Best Condominium Developer of the Year.
The top development of the year winners included Canopy Sands Development, which won the top award of the evening, The Development of the Year. Le Condé BKK1, winner of multiple awards took home Condominium Development of the Year, whilst Borey Williams won the Best Landed Property Development of the Year, and Connexion, a multiple award winner, won Lifestyle Development of the Year.
Mean Chey Residences, Picasso City Garden, Sophea Suites, Prince Happiness Plaza, Borey Amory, Diamond Bay Garden, and Time Square 6 were some of the other notable winners from the developer categories.
Asia Real Estate Cambodia (ARC) and WH Living and Properties rounded out the agency awards for the evening.
In a post-awards interview, Tom O'Sullivan, CEO of Realestate.com.kh, expressed his gratitude to the judging panel and emphasised the success of the 2024 awards. He remarked, "While the industry faces challenges, it's crucial for us to unite and reinforce our commitment to sustainable and transparent growth."
