In 2017 the Realestate.com.kh EXPO (previously the Cambodia Real Estate Show) welcomed over 100 exhibitors, 10,000 attendees and generated over $30 million in property sales over two separate events. The last show in October 2017 generated over 5,000 attendees & over 133 unit sales.
Having cemented itself as the most successful property show in Cambodia’s history in terms of property sales and targeted attendees, the Realestate.com.kh EXPO is returning to NagaWorld on the 19th & 20th of October 2018.
Ms Kelly of Creed Group, one of Cambodia’s favourite developers who attended both shows in 2017 said, “The show gathered a large number of potential buyers, there were even more developers this time, and the show was bigger than before.” She also commented that the venue, NagaWorld, was strategically located. Creed Group sold units across all of their three projects; namely Bodaiju Residences and Arata Garden Residences.
Mr Tony Yu, Marketing Manager at Orkide Villa, had a similar impression of the show: “We were very satisfied to be a part of the second Cambodia Real Estate show which enabled us to achieve direct sales.” Mr Yu also believes that the show benefited both developers and buyers, and encourages local developers to get on board for the next show.
Prince Real Estate Group, who achieved 38 unit sales over the two days as confirmed by their sales manager, now has their Prince Modern Plaza development mostly booked following the show - and were pleased with their result of leading the sales board at the end of the event.
Local show favourites Arita Garden (Creed Group), Orkide Villa, Prince Real Estate Group, The Parkway and international favourite Aristo are all returning for 2018, whilst newly launched properties such as Cloud Coast, Phnom Penh Harbour, OneDa and Le Bassac are also some of the early names to come aboard the 2018 event. Real estate agents such as Maxworld are also returning, along with a host of new agencies.
The exclusive property seminar sessions will also be returning for the 2018 expo, headed up by one of Cambodia’s leading law firms DFDL. Seminar sessions will include Chinese, Cambodian and Western talks as well as panel discussions covering a range of educational topics including current investment climate, hot locations and property ownership laws and much more.
Banking, finance, insurance and proptech will again provide an exciting element to the event with Last Mile returning with their innovative virtual showroom technology for the third time whilst new Proptech companies such as PropEase will be showcasing their app focused on making the handover process a less strenuous process.
